Choosing the right equipment will help you to make your painting project a real success.

Scrapers – Scrapers are a really great for removing unwanted imperfections on walls, scrapping off any hard lumps or old paint runs. They are also useful for pushing masking tape tightly into hard-to-reach corners.

Filling Knives – Are flexible and basically push wet filler into cracks and fill out holes depending on the size of the imperfections you can use a 2”, 3” 4” or is necessary a larger 12”.

Masking tape – masking tape is essential to ensure paint does not get in areas where it’s not wanted. It’s also great for creating smooth lines and clean finishes. You can also use good masking tape to make homemade stencils for a unique look.

Roller Tray or Scuttle – used to coat rollers with paint evenly. Use a tray for smaller size rooms, or small areas, but when painting larger areas of ceilings and walls, why not use a larger scuttle type rectangle bucket, which will hold a lot more paint, and saves you time on refilling with paint. When finished painting, pour and brush all the paint back in to your paint tin, and allow the scuttle to dry, and reuse your scuttle again, and again.

Brushes – Proud Paints have all brushes from, pure bristle, synthetic, angled or fitch brushes. Our brushes will handle all tasks effectively and easily.

Dust Sheets – Having dust sheets at the ready can really help you to enjoy rolling at a steady pace, and not having to worry about paint splashes landing on furniture and floors.
