Expert Tips That Make a Big Difference
- Rollers hold a ton of paint, when finished for the day make sure to scrape your rollers and deposit the left-over paint back into the tin to use again!
- Finished painting for the day but painting again tomorrow, no need to wash out your brushes and rollers. Wrap them up tightly in clingfilm or a plastic bag ensuring no air can get in and they will stay good for a couple of days.
- Before closing a tin of paint wipe the lid down to make sure the paint on it is gone as this will form a hard barrier on the tin making it harder to open. By removing the paint, you are also creating an airtight seal, this makes sure your paint stays good.
- Take it easy – Professional Painters have been at painting for many years, and painting is a trade that takes a 4 year apprenticeship, and still after qualifying painters are still learning.
