Preparing your room for painters
Painters are remarkable tradesmen, and are usually the last trade to come in, and if plaster work, or woodwork are not finished to the highest standard, painters will try their best to make it look good, which is always appreciated.
In general painters will always accommodate customers by moving furniture etc, without a second thought.
But helping the room to be ready will always be appreciated by your painter, and create a great energy for your project to be a success.
- Start by removing all loose items like pictures, ornaments, books, etc, and store them safely in another room.
- Removing curtains and blinds again would be a great help to the painter if you can safely remove
- Giving the carpet or wooden floor a quick hoover will help keep dust down.
